Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) and a subsidiary of Sberbank BI.ZONE signed a Memorandum of Understanding within the framework of the second International Congress on cybersecurity.
The terms of the Memorandum imply long-term cooperation in the field of cybersecurity between BI.ZONE and AIFC.
"The AIFC brings together the best experience and the most advanced capabilities of leading financial centers from New York and London to Dubai, Hong Kong and Singapore. We are grateful for the trust and are confident that this is a significant step for the stable development of business in conditions of growing complexity and danger of cyberattacks”, - said the Director of BI.ZONE Dmitry Samartsev.
According to the Governor of AIFC, the issue of security of financial systems and confidentiality of customer data is one of the main priorities of organizations in the financial sector. "Therefore, we pay special attention to the development of cybersecurity,” - highlighted Kairat Kelimbetov.
The signed Memorandum will allow the Parties to establish cooperation on the exchange of information and improve the level of expertise in the field of cybersecurity, not only at the local but also at the regional level.
