Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) and a major agro-industrial investor Great Production LTD as part of a round table with Turkish business captains, agreed to cooperate in attracting investments to the economy of Kazakhstan, interact and exchange best practices and knowledge in the field of investing in agricultural projects.
The agreement is aimed at the implementation of investment projects in the agro-industrial sector of the economy of Kazakhstan using the AIFC ecosystem.
Great Production LTD is a Turkish market leader in fruit processing and organic juice production, puree and concentrate production as well as fresh fruit packaging.
In the Republic of Kazakhstan, the investor together with a Kazakh partner, plans to implement a large-scale project that provides for the establishment of intensive orchards with a total area of 1100 hectares and the construction of a plant for packaging fresh fruits, producing organic juices, concentrate and puree. In such industrial volumes, fruit concentrate will be produced in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the first time. The total cost of the project within the first stage will exceed 40 billion tenge.
The AIFC together with NC KAZAKH INVEST JSC, within the framework of the Task Force group, structured this project, taking into account the specifics and needs of the agro-industrial sector, as well as maximizing the export potential of production.
For these purposes, at the AIFC site, the investor has already created a project legal entity in the form of a private company for the direct implementation of the investment intentions of the parties within the framework of the above agro-industrial project.
