In the building of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in London, a meeting of the Consultative Panel on Legal Regulation of Legal Activities at the AIFC (Advisory Panel) took place.
The meeting considered documents on the development of the AIFC legal services market, including draft Concepts on Legal Education and Training, approaches to the recognition of foreign practicing lawyers, etc.
The Advisory Council on the Regulation of Legal Activities in the AIFC (Legal Advisory Council) was established in 2019 in order to ensure the implementation of the best international practices on the regulation of legal activities in the AIFC. The objectives of the LAC are to determine the best international standards for the regulation of legal activity, provide strategic advice and expert advice on regulatory issues, determine the methodology and approaches for the development of the AIFC Legal Regulation Act in the AIFC and other issues.
